Ozgur Ozkul

Ozgur Ozkul, PhD, PE, currently serves as Design Engineering Manager and Structures Lead for the East at Kiewit since September 2021. Previously, Ozkul held various positions at Freysaş Freyssinet, including Structural Design Director and Technical Manager-Coordinator, where the technical department was established. Prior to that, Ozkul was an Assistant Professor at Okan University, teaching core civil engineering courses and conducting research on structural health monitoring. Experience also includes roles as Chief Structural Engineer at MITAS Telecom Systems, Associate Structural Engineer at Leslie E. Robertson Associates, and Graduate Research Assistant at Rutgers University. Ozkul earned a PhD in Structural Engineering and an MSc in Civil Engineering from Rutgers University, following a BSc in Civil Engineering from Middle East Technical University.
