Samantha Hughes

Samantha Hughes currently serves as a Lead Software Engineer at Kiewit, starting in October 2023, following a tenure as Software Development Lead at Quantum Workplace from February 2021 to October 2023. In previous roles, Samantha contributed as a Software Engineer at Red Berry Innovations, Inc. and gained experience as a Cyber Engineering Intern. Early career experience includes research internships at Creighton University under Dr. Jack Gabel and Dr. Carol Fassbinder-Orth. Proficient in a range of technologies including ASP.NET Core, C#, SQL Server, Python, Azure, and Docker, Samantha is well-versed in CI/CD, Test Driven Development, and Agile methodologies. Samantha holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Creighton University, completed in 2020.
