Joanne Laird is an experienced professional with a strong background in educational leadership and community service. Currently serving as the Resource Chair for Maui Rotary Clubs since August 2018 and as the Program Director for Read Aloud America since January 2009, Joanne manages program operations and curriculum across the Hawai`ian Islands. Previously, Joanne held the position of Past President of the Rotary Club of Kihei Sunrise and served as an Assistant Principal for Fremont Union High School District, overseeing activities, athletics, and various departments. Joanne earned a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Santa Clara University between 1986 and 1988.
