Akif Masood has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Akif started their career as a Marketing & PR intern at Pilot PMR where they gained experience in generating performance reports, developing purchase orders, assisting in budget development, and managing brands. Akif then worked as a Creative Development Specialist & Consultant Social Media Manager at Pilot PMR, where they developed and trained teams to increase sales, designed outstanding events, and maintained relations with top-tier clients.

Later, Akif joined Mediacom as a Brand Manager & PR Strategist, where they were responsible for managing brands such as Shaan, Meezan, Kashmir, and Fivestar. Akif collaborated with global managers to effectively penetrate international markets and developed a business plan to address product holes and new markets.

Following that, they joined Club Atlético de Madrid as a Regional Manager Marketing & Corporate Development. In this role, they led the review of utility and resource management, supervised PR, events, and branding activities, and successfully negotiated sponsorship deals.

Akif then joined Nike as a Senior Brand Strategy Consultant, where they developed and implemented brand books and defined global creative content to align with brand strategy and objectives.

After that, they worked at Boutique Dé Royal as a Global Director Brand Development & Sustainability. Akif successfully negotiated and matured a partnership with KIKO Milano for Pakistan and spearheaded the development and deployment of a flagship store.

Currently, Akif holds the position of Head of Brand at KIKO MILANO, where they manage various departments, including marketing, e-commerce, branding, and supply chain. Akif also oversees the development, execution, and evaluation of strategies.

Throughout their career, Akif has demonstrated their expertise in brand development, marketing strategy, negotiation, and team management.

Akif Masood obtained a specialization in Brand & Corporate Development from Harvard Business School between 2019 and 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Management Science from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences from 2013 to 2017. Akif also completed A Levels at the University of Cambridge from 2011 to 2013 and GCSE at the same institution from 2008 to 2011. Additionally, Akif obtained certifications as a Credit Union Certified Marketing Executive (CUCME) from the Credit Union National Association in October 2020 and as a Professional Certified Marketer (PCM) from the American Marketing Association in March 2019.
