Rebecca Pierce is a multifaceted professional with significant experience in writing, teaching, and media production. Currently serving as a Contributing Writer and Podcast Host for Jewish Currents Magazine since 2019, Rebecca specializes in op-eds and analysis focusing on social issues within the US Jewish community. Additionally, as a Teaching Artist for Bay Area Creative and Killing My Lobster, Rebecca instructs sketch comedy writing and film production classes. Past roles include a Marketing and Communications Manager and Filmmaker in Residence at the Jewish Film Institute, Development Coordinator at CNN Time Warner, and Multimedia Journalist for various online publications. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Digital Media from the University of California, Santa Cruz and has participated in language programs at the University of Haifa.
