Christopher Reese

Christopher Reese has a diverse and extensive work experience in various finance and accounting roles. Christopher began their career as an Audit Intern at Ernst & Young in 2003. Christopher then served as an Associate and later as a Senior Associate at EY from 2004 to 2009. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as an Audit Manager at Squar Milner. Reese joined PwC in 2011 and held multiple roles including Assurance Manager, Assurance Senior Manager, and Senior Manager in the National Professional Services group. Christopher then worked as a Controller at SmartStop Asset Management, LLC from 2017 to 2018, where they oversaw the accounting team for several public non-traded REITs. Currently, Reese is employed at Kilroy Realty Corporation, where they have held roles as Vice President of Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting and Senior Vice President of Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting. In these positions, they are responsible for overseeing corporate accounting, external reporting, SOX compliance, and technical accounting. Throughout their career, Reese has gained expertise in SEC filings, SOX compliance, annual budgeting, technical accounting, and audit strategy and reporting.

Christopher Reese attended Cal State Fullerton, College of Business and Economics from 1999 to 2004. Christopher obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Accounting, Economics, and International Politics. In April 2006, Christopher obtained certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the State of California.
