David Findlay

David Findlay has a strong background in the firearms industry, with extensive experience in research and development, management, and product engineering. David began their career at Remington Arms in 1978, where they worked as a Senior Product Engineer/CAD Manager until 2004. Following that, they joined H&R 1871 as a Product Engineer from 2004 to 2008. David then moved to Smith & Wesson, where they served as a Product Engineer from 2009 to 2017. During this time, they gained valuable expertise in the field. In 2017, David joined Kimber Mfg., Inc. and held various roles, including Senior Design Engineer, Manager, and Kimber - Manager Revolver/1911/Rifle. David also worked as the Manager for Revolvers until January 2020. In 2020, they transitioned to Kimber as the Interim Director of R&D until August 2022. Currently, they serve as the Director of Research and Development at Kimber Mfg., Inc.

David Findlay attended Stevens Institute of Technology from 1974 to 1978, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
