Louis Weimer

Louis Weimer has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in data science and analytics. Louis is currently working as the Director of Data Science at Kin Insurance since January 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Consultant in Analytic Science at Nationwide from November 2021 to January 2023. In this role, they led the development and deployment of advanced analytics models, proposed new projects based on business needs, and presented financial impact to executives. Before joining Nationwide, Louis worked as a Data Scientist at Progress Residential® from June 2021 to November 2021, where they prepared financial forecasts and developed predictive models. Louis also held positions at CVS Health as a Senior Analytic Consultant from November 2016 to November 2018, at Incentive Lab as a Data and Quality Analyst from August 2013 to September 2014, at Hudson Institute as a Research Intern from June 2013 to August 2013, and at American Foreign Policy Council as a Research Intern from June 2012 to September 2012.

Louis Weimer obtained a Bachelor's degree in History from Arizona State University between the years 2008 and 2012. Louis also pursued additional studies in Political Science and Mathematics during this time. Later, from 2014 to 2016, they completed a Master's Degree in Political Science at UC San Diego. Louis continued their education at UC San Diego and earned a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Political Science between 2014 and 2019. Apart from their formal education, Louis also received certifications in Agile Foundations from LinkedIn and passed Actuary Exams P and FM, recognized by the Society of Actuaries.
