Christoph Kohstall

Christoph Kohstall, PhD, is an accomplished physicist and entrepreneur, currently serving as the Founder of Kind Humanoid since December 2022, focusing on humanoid technology as reasoning machines. Previous experience includes a position at Google Brain in AI and Robotics, and as an Inventor at Da Vinci Innovations, where a machine for real-world evolution was developed. Kohstall founded Nixie Labs, which created a widely recognized wearable quadcopter camera. Academic credentials include a Postdoctoral research position at Stanford University in Experimental Quantum Physics and a PhD from Universität Innsbruck, where extensive research in ultracold atom gases and ecological detection systems on glaciers was conducted. Additionally, Kohstall has contributed to teaching in advanced physics and served as a Research Assistant under Nobel laureate Carl Wieman at the University of Colorado Boulder.
