Alison Morton, CFRE, MSPR has over 15 years of experience in the fields of philanthropy and communications. Alison began their career in 2001 as the Communications and Marketing at The Estlow Center. In 2003, they became the Communications Manager at iDE (formerly International Development Enterprises). In 2005, they joined the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as the Development Director. In 2012, they joined Kindering as the Chief Advancement Officer and later became the Chief Development Officer, where they fostered a culture of philanthropy within Kindering and their network while assuring that the Kindering's culture, systems and procedures support fund development. As the Chief Development Officer, they were responsible for managing the development department and actively securing philanthropic support for Kindering's programs and mission.
Alison Morton, CFRE, MSPR, obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English Language and Literature from Saint Louis University from 1997 to 2001. Alison then went on to earn their Master of Science (MS) in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from the University of Denver from 2001 to 2003. In 2013, they obtained a Certificate in Professional Fundraising from Boston University through Continuing Professional Development. Alison also obtained their Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) from CFRE International in September 2014.
