Joanna Barton

Joanna Barton is an experienced professional in quality engineering and microbiology, currently serving as the Global Quality Development Manager at Kindeva Drug Delivery since May 2020. Prior to this role, Joanna held positions at 3M as a Quality Engineering Specialist for a brief period in April to May 2020 and as a GMP Microbiology Lab Supervisor, where Joanna led the development of the GMP Microbiology Lab at the Columbia, MO manufacturing facility from October 2012 to June 2016. Joanna's earlier career included a role as a Senior Quality Engineer at 3M, focusing on medical devices from September 2007 to August 2010, and working as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the USDA Agricultural Research Service from November 2005 to September 2007. Additionally, Joanna has academic experience as an Assistant Professor in the Biology Department at St. Catherine University from August 2009 to June 2012, teaching various biology courses. Joanna holds a Ph.D. in Biology with a focus on Microbiology from Purdue University and a BA in Biology from St. Catherine University.
