Dr. Vasan S S

Dr. Vasan S S has a strong background in the healthcare industry and has held various leadership positions throughout their career. Dr. Vasan started their career at Changi General Hospital Pte Ltd in Singapore, where they worked as a Clinical Research Fellow from June 1996 to December 1998. Following this, they joined NU Hospital in 1998, where they served as the Head of the Department of Male Reproduction, Erectile Dysfunction, and Incontinence until December 2009.

In 2005, Dr. Vasan S S joined Manipal Hospital as the Director of Manipal Andrology & Reproductive Services (MARS) and held this position until April 2013. During their time at Manipal Hospital, they played a key role in the establishment of Manipal Ankur Andrology and Reproductive Services, serving as the Medical Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) from April 2013 to May 2016.

Dr. Vasan S S then took on the position of Chairman at Manipal Fertility in 2016, where they continued to contribute their expertise in the field. In 2008, they also became the Managing Director of Ankur Healthcare Pvt Ltd and later became the Medical Director and CEO in January 2020.

More recently, in November 2020, Dr. Vasan S S co-founded Janani, an innovative fertility service management platform in India. As a Co-Founder, they are involved in creating end-to-end fertility service brands under Janani, positioning the company as a virtual tech-enabled fertility service provider.

Throughout their career, Dr. Vasan S S has showcased their leadership skills and commitment to advancing the field of Andrology, Men's Health, and Reproductive Medicine.

Dr. Vasan S S pursued their undergraduate education from 1976 to 1981 at St Johns Medical College. During this period, they obtained their MBBS degree and pursued DNB (Surg) and DNB (Uro) programs. Dr. Vasan also completed a Fellowship in Andrology & Neurourology, focusing on the fields of Andrology, Incontinence & Men's Health.
