Matt Marr

Head of Content and Social Media at Kindred Motorworks

Matt Marr has a diverse work experience ranging from roles in content creation, video production, social media management, and project coordination. Matt currently holds the position of Head of Content and Social Media at Kindred Motorworks since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Huckberry as Lead Video Producer from April 2021 to April 2023, and as a Social Media Manager from October 2019 to April 2021.

Before joining Huckberry, Matt worked as a Producer at an independent company from January 2017 to October 2019. Matt also gained experience as an Associate Producer at MoleHouse Post, where they contributed to ESPN Films' documentary series on the History of SEC Football by managing archival media, coordinating production teams, and organizing materials from October 2017 to January 2019.

Matt's earlier experience includes roles at ESPN, where they served as an Executive Assistant to the Executive Producer and managed day-to-day activities from January 2016 to January 2017. Matt also worked as a Production Assistant from April 2015 to January 2016.

Further back in their career, Matt worked at Downeast Cider House as an Account Manager, where they developed and executed sales and marketing strategies in New York City and State, established brand recognition, and built relationships with customers from August 2014 to April 2015. Matt also had a brief stint at HBO as a Project Associate in Domestic National Distribution from January 2014 to April 2014.

Matt's early experiences include roles as a Creative Development Intern at Part2 Pictures where they conducted research, produced pitch decks, and provided production support from September 2013 to January 2014. Matt interned at BYKids, drafting social media strategies and assisting in grant proposal writing for fundraising efforts in the documentary film industry, from June 2012 to August 2012. Lastly, they interned at Roc Nation, contributing to video content research and ideas for Jay-Z's Life+Times YouTube Channel, scheduling video shoots, and assisting on set for episodes of Well Dunn with Jourdan Dunn from June 2012 to August 2012.

Matt Marr attended Bowdoin College from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with a major in International Relations and Affairs.
