Junbo Huang

Junbo Huang has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Junbo is currently working as a Machine Learning Engineer at Kindred, Part of Ocado Group. Prior to that, they worked as a Computer Vision Research Assistant at the Faculty of Engineering - McMaster University. Junbo also served as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant and an Educational Research Assistant at McMaster University.

In addition, Junbo Huang has experience working as a Control System & Modelling Specialist at McMaster Engineering EcoCAR Challenge, where they designed vehicle software modules, developed MATLAB scripts, and conducted Hardware-In-the-Loop testing.

Junbo has also worked as a Compiler Developer at IBM, where they developed compiler modules, built an automation framework, and delivered a build script. Furthermore, Junbo Huang worked as a Software Developer at the Faculty of Engineering - McMaster University, where they implemented an object-tracking algorithm and designed a soft data simulation program.

Junbo Huang completed their education chronologically as follows:

From 2022 to 2024, they attended the University of Toronto and studied for a Master of Science in Applied Computing with a concentration in Artificial Intelligence.

Between 2017 and 2022, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering, with co-op experience, at McMaster University.

Prior to that, from 2014 to 2017, they obtained their Ontario Secondary School Diploma from Unionville High School.

In addition to their formal education, Junbo Huang has also obtained certifications. In July 2022, they completed the "Machine Learning with Python: Foundations" certification from LinkedIn. In June 2022, they earned the "Building Video AI Applications at the Edge on Jetson Nano" certification from NVIDIA.
