José Tomás Mendez

José Tomás Mendez has worked in the bicycle industry since 2012. José Tomás started as an Ayudante de mecanico for KTM Bikes Chile in 2012 and then worked as a Mecánico for 8bar Bikes GmbH and Ibis Cycles in 2016 and 2017 respectively. In 2018, they became the Lead Mechanic for Bikeschop - Cane Creek Chile, Banshee Bikes Chile, specializing in hydraulic systems. In 2019, they worked as a Bike Mechanic for Red Bull. In 2020, they worked as a Store Manager for Bamboo Bike Tours, Workshop Developer/Manager and Head of Mechanics for Kleta, and Hardware Manager for Kineo. Finally, in 2023 they became a Team Mechanic for Propain Positive.
