David Charles

David Charles is an experienced legal professional with a robust background in corporate law and governance. Currently serving as Executive Director & Group General Counsel at Kinesis Money since 2019 and holding the position of Executive Director at ABX BCL Kinesis Group since 2010, David has also contributed significantly as Executive Director & Head of Legal Affairs at NEOM from 2017 to 2019. Prior experience includes serving as Group Senior Regional Counsel & Corporate Counsel at Johnson Controls from 2009 until 2017, following the merger of Johnson Controls International and Tyco International. David began their legal career at DLA Piper as a Legal Consultant & Client Lead from 2002 to 2009. Academically, David holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Queensland, a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from The College of Law Australia, and a Leadership in Corporate Counsel degree from Harvard Law School.
