John McAreavey

John McAreavey has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. John started their career at Google, where they worked in various roles as a Display Account Manager, Account Strategist, and Industry Analyst. John then worked as a Media Buyer at Intela, optimizing traffic sources across multiple digital channels. At MediaCom, they served as a Digital Manager, developing digital strategies for leading brands in various industries. John continued their digital marketing career at OMD International as a Digital Account Manager, focusing on EMEA strategy and implementation. John then joined Havas Media UK as an Account Director and later as a Business Director, where they collaborated with clients to develop marketing solutions.

In 2018, John joined The Hut Group as the Head of Digital for THG Brands. In this role, they led a team and had global responsibilities for THG's Beauty brands, focusing on growing their digital presence and revenue. John required strong collaboration with various teams to drive sales and margin levels. After that, they served as the Operations Director at return.co, managing operations. John also worked as a Guest Lecturer at Alliance Manchester Business School.

Most recently, John served as the Group Director at Initiative, where they held a senior leadership position. Currently, they are working at KINESSO as the GCC Operations Lead for EMEA.

John McAreavey attended Lancaster University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a focus on Business Management. John also participated in a study abroad program at Texas A&M University, furthering their studies in Business Management.
