Shawn Iadonato

Shawn Iadonato is the CEO of Kineta. Prior to their current position, Shawn was the Chief Scientific Officer at Illumigen Biosciences Inc from January 2000 to December 2007. Illumigen Biosciences Inc was established in 2000 and was the market leader in Health-Driven Drug Discovery. The company used its patented genetic technologies to study healthy individuals, identify beneficial mutations and develop novel drugs that mimic healthy phenotypes. In December 2007, Illumigen Biosciences was acquired by Cubist Pharmaceuticals (now part of Merck & Co).

Shawn Iadonato has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Genetics from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Biology from the University of Pennsylvania.
