Tom Preston, PE, is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and project management. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Kinetic Design Inc since January 2023, Tom previously held positions including Project Manager at MEP California Engineering Corp and Program Manager at Leaf Engineers. Tom's background includes significant roles as Mechanical Engineer in HVAC system design at L-3 Power Paragon, tk1sc, and CJI Process Systems, along with a focus on continuous improvement and LEAN projects during time at Flowserve. Tom holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis on Thermal Fluids from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, earned in 2010.
