Jim Leonard

Jim Leonard has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Jim began their career in 2011 as a VP of US Sales and General Manager of US Operations at Ahkun-US. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Senior Inside Sales Representative at SoftwareAG, marketing Terracotta BigMemory Big Data solutions.

Leonard then moved on to GridGain Systems, where they held multiple positions from 2013 to 2016. Jim started as an Account Development Manager, marketing In-Memory Computing Stack and Integrated Hadoop and MongoDB Accelerator solutions. Later, they became a Regional Sales Manager, responsible for selling software, support, consulting services, and training in the Eastern US territory.

In 2016, Leonard joined Kinetica as a Sales - BDR, focusing on the limitations of Moore's Law and the need for server farms or clusters to scale cloud infrastructures. Jim worked there until 2019.

Jim then worked at Firebolt as a Business Development Representative before joining Upsolver as a Senior Business Development Representative in late 2022. Currently, Leonard is a Senior Business Development Representative at Kinetica, focusing on their real-time analytic database and performance improvements.
