Mohammed Hefni Ph.D.

Mohammed Hefni PhD, PMP®, PgMP®, Consultant Engineer currently serves as Acting Cultural Attaché and Director of Communication and Partnerships at the Saudi Cultural Office in Germany. With extensive experience in academia, Mohammed holds a position as Associate Professor and has previously served as Chairman of the Mining Engineering Department at King AbdulAziz University. Professional engagements include consulting roles within the Ministry of Education, the Cultural Office of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Germany, and the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources. Mohammed's research interests focus on advancing mining technology, particularly through the introduction of Foam mine fill in backfilling applications. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. and MEng in Mining and Mineral Engineering from McGill University.
