Sultan Altass

Sultan Altass currently serves as an Associate Professor of Accounting and holds multiple administrative roles, including Vice Dean of Quality and Accreditation and Vice Dean for Development at King AbdulAziz University since July 2017. Additionally, Sultan Altass is the Director at Maad Financial Consultants since December 2018 and previously worked as an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Rabigh Business School from September 2016 to December 2023. Sultan Altass completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Accounting and Finance at the University of Leeds, where research focused on the readability of financial statement notes and the audit function. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science (MSc) in Accounting from the University of Essex, a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Accounting from the University of Lancashire, a Diploma in Hospitality Administration/Management from the Makkah Chamber of Commerce, and an Associate's degree in Accounting from The College of Technology.
