Shuyi Hu

Shuyi Hu is the Technology Division Director at King County, WA, since September 2015, providing technology solutions and support to the Department of Judicial Administration. Prior to this role, Shuyi Hu spent nearly 17 years at Microsoft, holding various positions including Tech Lead and SDE Lead, where responsibilities included leading web mining efforts and projects to enhance structured data quality. Shuyi Hu also contributed to the development of Human-Robot Interactions and played a key role in shipping Office 2007 and Office 2010, as well as Mac Office versions. Academically, Shuyi Hu holds a PhD in Computer and Electrical Engineering from Clemson University and two degrees in Computer Science and Technology from Tsinghua University.
