Carla Silva

Carla Silva is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in global licensing and brand management. Currently serving as SVP and GM, Global Head of Licensing at King Features, a unit of Hearst, since February 2024, Carla has previously held the role of VP and GM in the same division from February 2016 to March 2024, overseeing a diverse portfolio of properties. In addition to these roles, Carla has been a HearstLab Scout since January 2019, providing strategic advice to early-stage, women-led startups. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Retail at Iconix Brand Group and Senior Vice President of Global Licensing at American Greetings, where Carla managed licensing strategies and international networks. Carla holds a BS degree in Management with a focus on International Business from Kean University.
