Jimmie C. "JJ" Jackson Jr. has held several leadership positions, starting with serving as Deputy Commander for Combined Air Operations Center 7 for NATO in 2005. After that, Jackson was the Commandant of Air Command and Staff College for the United States Air Force, serving as College President from 2007 to 2009. Jimmie C. "JJ" Jackson Jr. received their BBA in Marketing from Texas A&M University in 1976. Jimmie C. "JJ" went on to earn an MS in Personnel Supervision and Management from Troy University in 1988 and an MS in National Security Strategy from the National War College in 1994. In 2004, they completed an Executive Leadership Course at the Center for Creative Leadership. Jackson also earned several certificates, including one from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth in 2010, a Multinational Crisis Management certificate from NATO School Oberammergau GE, and an Executive Leader Quality Principles Course from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Additionally, they completed a course in National Security Management at Syracuse University's Maxwell School in 2006.
