Brian Lansdown has extensive work experience in the field of quality, environment, health, and safety. Brian started their career in 1970 working as an Aircraft Fitter, Machinist, and H&S Coordinator for British Aircraft Corporation, British Aerospace, and Airbus. Brian held this role until June 2012. In August 2012, they joined King Lifting as the Head of Quality, Environment, Health & Safety. Brian also served as the QEHS Manager at King Lifting, where they managed, supported, and enabled people, processes, and systems to achieve a safe working environment. Brian Lansdown is now retired from their position as the Head of Quality, Environment, Health & Safety at King Lifting.
Brian Lansdown has a diverse education history. Starting in 1965, they attended Castle School Thornbury, where they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. After completing their schooling, they enrolled in Rolls-Royce Technical College from 1970 to 1974, where they underwent an indentured apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering. Following this, they took a temporary break from education before returning in 2002 to University of Warwick - Warwick Business School for a short term, aiming to acquire knowledge in Project Management as a Project Leader. Lastly, in 2005 to 2006, they pursued a Post Graduate degree in Business Administration and Management, General at Lancaster University.
