Chief Human Resources Officer at King & Spalding

Chris Jackson joined King & Spalding as the firm’s Chief Human Resources Officer in May 2000. In this role, he drives the development and implementation of firm-wide human Resources programs, benefits administration, and support staff compensation programs and process improvement initiatives. He also provides efficient and effective administrative support to the firm’s attorneys and clients, is responsible for the management of the legal secretaries and secretarial services, and oversees the firm’s Service Excellence Initiative (SEI).

Prior to joining King & Spalding, Mr. Jackson had acquired more than 20 years of human resources experience with a large integrated health system. He has an extensive background in internal consulting, organizational integration, employee relations, recruiting and retention, management training, compensation and benefit administration and Human Resource Management Information Systems.

Mr. Jackson graduated from the University of South Florida with a BBA in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and an MBA. He is active in the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Association for Legal Administrators (ALA).
