Michael McCarney

Michael McCarney is a seasoned professional in finance and investment analysis, currently serving as a Research Analyst at King Street Capital Management since April 2021. Prior experience includes an Associate position at BlackRock from August 2019 to April 2021, with a focus on Special Situations and Private Credit. Earlier, Michael worked in investment banking at Ducera Partners LLC, specializing in restructuring from August 2016 to July 2019. Michael's early career included two internships in corporate development at GENBAND during the summers of 2014 and 2015, and an Assistant Lacrosse Coach role at Iron Horse Lacrosse in 2013. Michael holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of Maryland, completed in 2016, and attended Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas from 2008 to 2012.
