Jim Donahue has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Jim started their career at King College in 1992 as the Director of Information Technology, where they held this position for seven years. In 1999, they transitioned to King University as the Associate Vice President for Information Services. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the campus-wide technology initiatives, managing the Information Technology department, and developing policies and procedures. Jim also played a key role in negotiating vendor contracts for hardware and software. Additionally, Jim supervised the activities and operations of the E.W. King Library. In 2000, they were promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer/Chief Financial Officer at King University, where they currently hold this position.
Jim Donahue earned a BA in Business Administration from King University from 1986 to 1990. Later, they pursued an MBA with a focus on Management Science from Virginia Tech - Pamplin College of Business, completing it from 1990 to 1992.
