Yiwen Chen

Yiwen Chen is a Special Counsel at King & Wood Mallesons, bringing extensive experience in significant transactions such as capital partnering arrangements for community development, major property sales, and joint ventures in commercial real estate. Holding a comprehensive background in various legal roles, Yiwen has acted on substantial IPOs and takeover transactions, and has gained experience as a Secondee Lawyer at Macquarie Group focusing on insurance services. Prior engagements include roles as a Clerk and Summer Clerk at King & Wood Mallesons, a Paralegal at Blake Dawson, and leadership as President of the University of Sydney Young Entrepreneurs Society, where membership significantly increased. Yiwen holds a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law and a Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Sydney.
