Galina Esther Shubina

Galina Esther Shubina is an accomplished professional in the field of data science, machine learning, and AI, currently serving as Senior Director of Product Management, Experience Optimization at King since March 2023, where responsibilities include establishing machine learning and AI capabilities. Prior experience includes roles at King as Product Director of Machine Learning and as Co-Founder and CTO of Sum Health, focusing on healthtech innovations. Galina has served on various boards and advisory roles, including the EuroHPC Reference Group in Sweden, and has co-founded Women in Data Science (AI & ML) Sweden, promoting diversity in tech. Previous positions also include Director of Software Engineering and AI at Northvolt and Interim Director of Data at Trinity Mirror plc. Galina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Mathematics from Brandeis University and has pursued graduate studies in Computer Science at Brown University.
