Gary Clark Biddle

Gary Clark Biddle is currently a professor of financial accounting at the University of Melbourne and a visiting professor at Columbia University, Hong Kong University and London Business School. Mr. Biddle received his MBA and PhD degrees from the University of Chicago.

Mr. Biddle has served as a professor at the University of Chicago, the University of Washington, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and the University of Hong Kong, and has held positions at China Europe International Business School (China), Fudan University (China), University of Glasgow (UK), Lausanne International School of Management Development (Switzerland) and Skolkovo Business School (Russia) as a visiting professor. In terms of academic management, Mr. Biddle was the Dean and Chair Professor of the University of Hong Kong, and served as the Academic Dean, Department Head, Council Member, Advisory Committee Member, Academic Council Member and Chair Professor at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Professionally, he is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Australian Institute of Company Directors, the Australian Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Biddle is a member of the Executive Committee of the American Accounting Association, Vice President and Invited President Candidate, the Accounting Hall of Fame Selection Committee, the Financial Reporting Review Panel of the Hong Kong Financial Reporting Council, the Council of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Review and Financial Reporting Standards Committee , a member of the Training Committee of the Hong Kong Institute of Directors, and the chairman and founding board of supervisors of the Hong Kong Academic Accountants Association. Mr. Biddle is a leading expert in financial and managerial accounting, value creation, economic forecasting, corporate governance and performance metrics.
