Curt Hastings

Dr. Hastings did his undergraduate studies at Yale University. He received his PhD from the California Institute of Technology and did postdoctoral work in biophysics at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. For over a decade, he developed and managed the computational analytic capabilities and databases of the Institute for Physical Science. He co-founded and is CTO of PermissionBit, a cybersecurity company. His research interests include using computational methods to address questions in the biological sciences, hard problems in political economy, and the application of machine learning techniques to cybersecurity issues.
