Role Overview: 

We are looking for a Head of Product Analytics to lead and mentor a team of product analysts and bring consumer data to the forefront of everything that we do in Product. This is an exciting and essential role supporting the growth of the business across a portfolio of exciting products. The successful candidate will bring a blend of technical strength, business acumen, leadership qualities and sharp communication. You’ll be working with a strong international team based across Europe, and Africa, so the ability to collaborate across physical and cultural boundaries will be very important. For the right person, this role represents a huge opportunity to shape the data capabilities of a fast-growing, digital-native business, and catapult your career to the next level. This is an onsite role based in either Madrid or Malta. 

What You Will Be Doing:  

  • Lead and mentor a team of product analysts, ensuring high performance and professional growth. 
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive product analytics strategy that supports the company’s goals. 
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, marketeers, and other stakeholders to identify and deliver visibility of key product metrics. 
  • Design and execute experiments to test new product features and enhancements. 
  • Guide your team to utilise a mix of tools, including Google Analytics (GA), Google Tag Manager (GTM), Visual Website Optimizer (VWO), BigQuery, PowerBI, and Tableau to derive insights and inform product development, optimization, and innovation. 
  • Use Python and other analytical tools to perform advanced data analysis and predictive modelling. 
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership to influence strategic decisions. 
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and availability for analysis. 
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in product analytics and data science. 

What You Need for This Role:  

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. 
  • 8+ years of experience in product analytics, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. 
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools such as PowerBI and Tableau. 
  • Strong experience with tools such as GA, GTM, VWO, Amplitude and BigQuery. 
  • Deep understanding of statistical analysis, modelling, and A/B testing. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations. 
  • Proven track record of driving product improvements and business growth through data insights. 
  • Experience in the iGaming or related industry is a plus. 
  • Nice to have: Experience extracting data from external systems including via APIs. 
  • Nice to have: Familiarity with CRM systems; ability to derive actionable segmentations from consumer data bases; familiarity with analytical approaches to assessing CRM performance. 
  • Nice to have: Knowledge of Big Data infrastructure; experience working with large, complex data sets  
  • Nice to have: Knowledge of statistical forecasting methodologies  
  • You are team-focused and highly collaborative.  
  • Fluent in English language
