Soha Hmaidan

Beirut native Soha Hmaidan holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in business administration from the American University of Beirut (AUB) and is a certified professional in human resources and compensation.

Ms. Hmaidan joined King’s Academy in 2021 as Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for overseeing non-academic and operational processes across the institution. She has over 30 years of experience across a wide range of professional areas including operations and advancement, with deep expertise in higher education.

Prior to joining King’s, Ms. Hmaidan was the associate vice president for advancement services and university events at AUB. In her more than 22 years of service to AUB, she has actively engaged in overall university operations, strategic planning, campus master planning, accreditation processes, administration, fundraising campaigns, institution-wide policies and procedures committee, and communications.

Ms. Hmaidan is an active member of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), and has spoken at several international conferences. Most recently, she served as the chair of the 2020 planning committee for the CASE Middle Eastern Advancement conference (MEAC).
