Christy Coovert MSN, RN, CBCN, OCN is an experienced Nurse Navigator currently employed at King's Daughters Medical Center since March 2020. Prior to this, Christy served as a Breast Health Nurse Navigator and Clinical Coordinator at Bon Secours Health System from December 2014 to March 2020, and worked as an Oncology Nurse in various settings, including Cabell Huntington Hospital and Ashland Bellefonte Cancer Center. Christy holds multiple certifications in oncology and chemotherapy/biotherapy and has a solid background in patient care coordination, education, and case management. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Nursing Leadership and Management from Walden University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ohio University, and an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from the University of Alaska Anchorage.
