Mickey McClanahan, also known as Mikayla, has a wide range of work experience in various roles and industries. Mickey (Mikayla) has worked as a Campaign Manager for Keating for Council, where they presumably played a key role in managing campaign activities. Mickey (Mikayla) is also a Co-Owner of Raise the Bar Sports Performance, indicating their involvement in the management and operation of this sports performance organization. In addition, Mickey has experience in coaching and training, having worked as the Head Coach and Goalkeeper Trainer for Kings Hammer soccer club, as well as the Assistant Women's Soccer Coach for Springboro High School. Mickey (Mikayla) has also served as a Goalkeeper Trainer for Metro FC. Mickey has gained valuable experience in leadership and communication through their role as Communications Director for Cincinnati City Council. Prior to this, they worked as a Nanny and a Lead Teacher at the YMCA of Central Stark County. Mickey (Mikayla) has also held internships at Aultman Hospital as a Medical Ethics Intern and at Walsh University as a Student Service Center Tutor and Student Assistant Coach. Their diverse work experience showcases their ability to adapt to different environments and roles.

Mickey (Mikayla) McClanahan's education history begins in 2016 when they attended Walsh University. They obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied and Professional Ethics from Walsh University. In 2020, Mickey pursued a Master of Arts degree in Politics and International Relations from Durham University. They completed their master's program in 2021.

Afterward, Mickey enrolled at the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2022 to pursue a Doctor of Law degree (JD). This program is expected to be completed in 2025.

In addition to their formal education, Mickey has obtained several certifications. In February 2022, they obtained the "LGBT: diversity and inclusion" certification from the United Soccer Coaches. Prior to that, in October 2021, they completed the "SafeSport Trained" certification from the US Center for SafeSport. Mickey also has certifications in 11v11 Grassroots Coaching from the U.S. Soccer Federation in July 2021, CPR from Attentive Safety CPR and Safety Training in March 2021, and Fundamentals of Coaching from NFHS Licensing in March 2021. Furthermore, they obtained a Pupil Activity Permit from the Ohio Department of Education in February 2021.
