Oleg Aleksandrov

Oleg Aleksandrov, MIMMM, is a seasoned professional in polymer engineering with extensive experience at Kingspan Light + Air since January 2017, currently serving as Head of Polymer Engineering and previously as a Divisional Polymer Engineer and Compliance Manager. Oleg has a strong background in R&D, troubleshooting, and quality control within the plastics industry, supported by hands-on experience in various roles, including Process Technician and Trainee Technician. In addition to work at Kingspan, Oleg contributes as a Learner representative on the Academic Council for First Polymer Training Skillnet, ensuring quality training in the field. Oleg's educational credentials include an MSc in Polymer Science and Technology from Loughborough University and a BEng in Polymer Processing from the Institute of Technology, Sligo, among other qualifications in business and automotive technology. Additionally, Oleg has demonstrated business acumen through previous entrepreneurial ventures and managerial roles in the food and automotive sectors.
