Maroan Maizar

Maroan founded Maizar Advisory Services in 2019 with a focus on financial markets, capital markets, debt and equity as well as strategic advisory. Maroan has over 20 years experience in the financial services business. He also advises parties seeking to resolve litigations as expert witness or mitigation between parties.

Prior to this Maroan was country CEO for Switzerland and General Manager for Deutsche Bank Zurich Branch AG, “DBAG” and responsible for the corporate and investment bank during the course of his 12 years with Deutsche Bank. He also worked for Kepler Cheuvreux as Managing Director building corporate finance and financial advisory business for Switzerland.

Earlier in his career he was with Goldman Sachs in London as Head of Corporate Coverage and Risk Management Solutions Switzerland and Credit Suisse Financial Products in both London and Zurich as a derivative structurer and head of FX / IR. Maroan graduated from St. Gallen Business School.
