Alicia Howell

Alicia Howell has extensive experience in addiction care and social services, with a current role as Team Lead for Addiction Care at Kingston Health Sciences Centre since June 2011, providing non-medical acute withdrawal management and recovery referrals. Concurrently, Alicia serves as a COR- Addiction Care Worker at Queen's University. Previous positions include Residential Case Manager at the Elizabeth Fry Society of Kingston, where Alicia worked with women in institutional settings, and multiple roles at Kingston Home Base Housing, focusing on youth housing crises and emergency shelter efforts. Past experience also includes front-line counseling at Dawn House Women’s Shelter and building case management systems at The Salvation Army. Alicia holds a Social Service Worker degree from St. Lawrence College.
