Hala El-Kerdawy is a seasoned professional in the field of anesthesia and research, currently serving as a Research Assistant in the Anesthesia Department at Kingston Health Sciences Centre since November 2017, where involvement includes multicenter clinical research projects such as VISION and studies on fibrinogen replenishment in surgical settings. Hala holds a Professorship in Anesthesia at Cairo University, where the role includes sabbatical leave. Previous experience includes a Research Assistant position at Queen's University focused on neuroscience from December 2014 to August 2017, and serving as an Anesthesia Consultant at Saad Specialist Hospital from August 2001 to August 2013, covering various surgical sub-specialties. Hala's educational background includes a Medical Doctorate and Master of Science in Anesthesia from Cairo University, a Fellowship in Anesthesia from Leiden University, and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Cairo University.
