Yiran (Sarah) Zhu is currently an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Kingston Health Sciences Centre, where involvement includes investigating the efficacy of electronically delivered cognitive behavioural therapy compared to pharmacotherapy for insomnia and online therapy for correctional workers in Dr. Alavi's Queen's University Online Psychotherapy Lab. Prior experience includes serving as a Surgical Coordinator at Kingston Ophthalmology and Vision Sciences Centre, responsible for scheduling surgeries and assisting with patient consultations and paperwork. Yiran also worked as a Pharmacy Assistant at Medical Arts Pharmacy, handling medication refills, prescription orders, and patient profiles. Yiran is pursuing a Master of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Manitoba, having completed a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) at Queen's University. Education includes a High School Diploma from Walter Murray Collegiate.
