Sarah Chen, FCAS, CFA has a extensive work experience in the insurance and finance industry. Starting in 2007 with Capital One as a Statistician, they then moved on to Travelers Insurance where they held various positions as a Consultant and Sr. Consultant. In 2011, they joined The Hartford as a Sr. Consultant, specializing in ERM & Capital Analysis. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Sr. Actuarial Analyst at XL Group. Sarah then joined Plymouth Rock Assurance in 2013 as an Actuarial Manager. In 2018, they transitioned to Homesite Insurance where they worked as the Manager of Countrywide Actuarial and later as the Sr Pricing Manager and Actuary. Currently, they are working at Kingstone Insurance Company, first as the Chief Actuary and currently as the SVP, Chief Actuary.
Sarah Chen, FCAS, CFA completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics at Tsinghua University from 2001 to 2005. Minlei (Sarah) furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Arts degree in Applied Mathematics from Brown University between 2005 and 2007.
