Sharon Kunder

Sharon Kunder has over 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Sharon currently works as the Director of Global Medical Safety at Kiniksa Pharmaceuticals, a position they have held since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Associate Director of Global Medical Safety at Kiniksa Pharmaceuticals from September 2020 to December 2021.

Before joining Kiniksa Pharmaceuticals, Sharon worked at Takeda as a Global Safety Scientist from January 2019 to September 2020. Sharon also served as the Manager of Global Drug Safety at Shire from October 2015 to January 2019.

Sharon has diverse experience in clinical research and academia as well. Sharon has worked as an Adjunct Faculty for the Clinical Research Program at Boston College from February 2014 to July 2016. Additionally, they have held roles at Infinity Pharmaceuticals and TIMI Study Group, where they gained expertise in pharmacovigilance and drug safety operations management.

Earlier in their career, Sharon worked at Brigham and Women's Hospital and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, focusing on pre-clinical research operations and therapeutic antigen antibody development. Sharon began their career as a Clinical Research Coordinator/Associate at Steward Health Care.

With their extensive work experience in medical safety and drug development, Sharon Kunder has established herself as a highly qualified professional in the pharmaceutical industry.

Sharon Kunder completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from D.J Sanghavi College of Engineering from 1999 to 2003. Sharon then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University, from 2003 to 2006. In 2012, they obtained a CRA/CRC Certificate in Clinical Research from Boston College.
