Scott Bates

Scott Bates is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in mobile application development, particularly in iOS. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer II at Life360 since June 2024, Scott previously held key engineering roles at Whistle from May 2015 to June 2024, where responsibilities included engineering management and development of a large Objective-C codebase. Prior to that, Scott worked at Uncorked Studios as a Senior Application Architect and Lead Software Engineer, focusing on full-stack development and iOS solutions. Additional experience includes consulting for major clients as a Digital Media Contractor and leading multimedia efforts at Deluxe Media. With a BFA in Visual Communications from Northern Arizona University, Scott has built a solid career over more than two decades in technology and creative roles.
