Joyce Souza has over 13 years of work experience. Joyce began their career as a Trainee at Embrapa in 2006. In 2007, they worked as a Trainee at Portway Sistemas Ltda, where they created a Quality Assurance & Testing department and was responsible for functional, regression and system testing and release documentation. From 2008 to 2011, they worked as a Test Analyst at Venturus, where they were responsible for writing and executing functional tests for a Financial Service company. From 2012 to 2016, they worked as a Senior Test Analyst at Vertis E-Commerce and SVLabs - The Systems Validation Company, where they tested Web Services applications and E-commerce systems. In 2016, they worked as a Project Manager and QA Lead at Aequilibrium Software. Since 2018, they have been working at Kinzoo as the Chief Operations Officer, Director of Delivery, and Project Delivery Manager, where they are responsible for building a messenger that turns screen time into family time.

Joyce Souza's education history includes studying Information Technology at Universidade Estadual de Campinas from 2004 to 2008, obtaining a Business Management degree from Douglas College from 2014 to 2016, and studying Software Testing at Softex & CenPra in 2007. Joyce has also obtained certifications from ISTQB, including CTAL- TA, Test Analyst Advanced Level in October 2012 and Certified Tester in February 2010, as well as a Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from the Scrum Alliance.
