Nelly Matamoros

Nelly Matamoros has over 20 years of work experience, starting in 1999 as an Accounting Analyst at ConocoPhillips, where they were involved in accounts payable and treasury analysis. Nelly then worked as an Accounts Payable and Funding Specialist at GE Plastics, handling account reconciliations and participating in an Oracle implementation project.

From 2005 to 2006, Matamoros served as a Funding Manager at Centro de Apoyo al Microempresario CAME. Nelly subsequently joined Cargill as a Finance Manager, responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, and travel and expense management.

Matamoros later moved on to Indra, where they held the positions of Responsible for External Professional Services/Buyer and Purchase Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for subcontracting external personnel for various projects and implementing global agreements. Nelly also managed negotiations with suppliers, aimed at maximizing profitability and reducing costs.

In 2016, Matamoros joined Capgemini as a Purchase Manager, overseeing the country's procurement activities and implementing global agreements. Nelly was also responsible for internal and external audits.

Most recently, in 2017, Matamoros joined KIO as the Vice President of Procurement, where they currently hold the position. This role entails overseeing procurement operations and ensuring the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services for the company.

Nelly Matamoros has a strong educational background in various fields. Nelly completed a Diplomado in Strategic Formation of High Performance at Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2014. In 2013, they also obtained a Diplomado in Modeling and Intelligent Process Management from Universidad del Valle de México. In 2010-2011, Nelly completed a Diplomado in Fundamentals of Management at Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, followed by a Diplomado in Business Consultancy Skills Development in 2001. Nelly'sacademic journey began in 1992 when they earned an Accounting Degree from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México. Additionally, Nelly also has a certification in Managerial Competencies Development from Tecnológico de Monterey, obtained in 2020.
