Juergen von Derschau

Juergen von Derschau has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Juergen currently serves as the Vice President of Global Industrial Engineering & Operational Excellence at KION Group since April 2021. In this role, they oversee industrial engineering and operational excellence efforts globally. Prior to this position, they held the role of Vice President of Industrial Engineering - Global Operations at KION Group from July 2017 to March 2021.

Before joining KION Group, Juergen worked at Lear Corporation for a significant part of their career. Juergen held various roles including Head of Industrial Engineering, JIT Operations Europe & Africa, where they were responsible for industrial engineering activities in 30 JIT plants across 10 countries. Juergen also served as Industrial Engineering Manager for JIT Operations in Germany, Logistics Project Manager, and Simulations & Continuous Improvement Manager.

Earlier in their career, Juergen worked at ProModel Corporation as a Product Manager & Senior Consultant.

Juergen von Derschau attended INSEAD Business School in 2019 and 2020, where they completed the KION Global Executive Program. Juergen also obtained an MSc in Supply Chain Management from Universität für Weiterbildung Krems in 2007 and 2008. In 2000 to 2002, Juergen achieved a Betriebswirt IHK degree from IHK Munich within the field of Business Administration, Management, and Operations. Their education history also includes studying Business Informatics at FernUniversität in Hagen, where they received the Wirtschaftsinformatiker IHK degree, which they completed before 1994.
