Gilbert Knapp

Gilbert Knapp began their career in 1969 as a Math Teacher for the Horseheads Central School District. In 1983, they joined General Motors as a Supplier Quality Engineer. In 2001, they joined Kionix, Inc. as the Quality Manager, where they maintained and improved the Quality Management System, promoted the use of quality tools, and managed the Internal Audit process. Gilbert retired from this role in May 2011.

Gilbert Knapp completed their Bachelor of Science in Math from the State University of New York College at Cortland between 1964 and 1969. Gilbert then went on to receive their Master of Arts in Math from Elmira College between 1969 and 1972. Finally, they earned their Master of Business Administration in Operations from Syracuse University - Martin J. Whitman School of Management between 1981 and 1983.
