Brett Edwards has extensive work experience in finance and accounting, starting in 1988. Brett worked as a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young from 1988 to 1998. From 1999 to 2005, they held the position of Manager, Corporate Accounting at Airservices Australia. Following that, they joined GMAC Financial Services as a Financial Controller from 2005 to 2011. Currently, they are serving as the Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary at Kip McGrath Education Centres Limited.
Brett Edwards holds a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) degree in Accounting from Macquarie University, which they obtained from 1987 to 1991. Brett then pursued a Professional Year in Accounting from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia from 1992 to 1995. Later, from 2000 to 2002, they completed a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance with a focus on Finance at the Securities Institute of Australia. Lastly, in 2010 to 2011, Brett obtained a Diploma in the Company Directors Course from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
